The Chausson Flash 02 has a diesel engine, a six-speed gearbox, cruise control and air-conditioning in the cab. Although classed as a small motorhome, there is plenty of room inside a Chausson Flash 02 for standing up, moving around, relaxing, eating and sleeping during your weekend or week away. The double bed is fixed at the rear of the interior space so that you do not have to dismantle tables or bench seats every time you want to take a nap. The driver and passenger seats rotate to form part of the dining and lounge facilities. There is a dinette table and seating for up to four people. Two seat belts are fitted to the bench seat therefore the Chausson Flash 02 can legally transport up to four people. This bench seat can also be converted into the spare single bed.
The full-sized fridge includes a small freezer compartment and runs from the gas bottle when you are parked up, or from the leisure battery when the engine is running, or via 240-volt electricity if you have a mains hook-up on a campsite. The cooker, which is also supplied by the gas bottle, consists of a hob with gas rings and an eye-level grill. Lighting in the vehicle relies on the leisure battery or a mains hook-up. A diesel heater uses the vehicle’s own diesel supply to ensure a warm temperature inside the Chausson Flash 02 if you are camping in a cooler climate.

The Chausson Flash 02 has an 80 litre capacity freshwater tank which makes cooking and washing in the motorhome very straightforward especially if you are not parked on a site with facilities. The compact, but well-designed washroom area contains a cassette toilet, a wash basin, mirror and a shower. Hot water for the shower can be obtained by using the diesel heater.
There is plenty of storage space in a Chausson Flash 02; cupboards around the walls at head height, kitchen cupboards under the sink and a tall narrow wardrobe, all of which you should lock while travelling to avoid items falling out. You will find further storage room under the double bed which can be accessed by lifting the bed or from a lockable door at the rear of the vehicle. If you are bringing bicycles it is worth noting that every Chausson motorhome in our fleet has a bike rack attached to the rear of the vehicle.
