Chausson Flash 08
The Chausson Flash 08 is usually classified as 4 berth motorhome. It is a low profile design, based on the Fiat Ducato 15 cab and Camper chassis. Manufactured with either a 2.2 or 2.3 litre turbo diesel engine, the Chausson Flash 08 also has power assisted steering to ensure a smooth driving experience. Large door mirrors, with blind-spot sections, help you to confidently manouevre and park this vehicle. A reversing camera is also available on some models.
Chausson Flash 08 Inside
The Flash 08 would be suitable for a small family or a group of friends sharing. You might also rent it as a couple if you were intending to spend a longer time touring and were keen on a layout which allowed a fixed double bed to the rear. This is often more convenient than converting the dinette in the lounge area each night before bedtime. The dinette bed is probably more suitable for one adult or two small children, rather than two full size adults. The fixed rear double bed is however a good size with a high quality sprung mattress. The bed base lifts up to allow storage space below for large or long items. Additional space for storage is supplied by overhead lockers round the rear bedroom.
Chausson Flash 08 Layout
The kitchen area is L-shaped, with an eye-level oven and grill, a three ring hob, fridge with freezer compartment and a sink unit. Utensils, crockery and cutlery for four people are provided. The washroom has a shower, with shower curtain, cassette toilet, washbasin and some shelves. The Chausson Flash 08 has an effective and easy to use power management system. Like all the Chausson range. the Flash 08 is fully winterized and double glazed, with blown air heating for cooler weather.
The cab seats are very comfortable and there are also three belted passenger seats in the habitation area just behind the cab. This front lounge layout is a good idea for families travelling with young children, so that they can be supervised closely throughout the journey. Home entertainment is provided by a TV with Freeview channels, a DVD player and a CD player.
