The Elddis Autoquest is rather spacious, occassionally you might see these advertised as a 6 berth, but I can’t see that myself. There is a double overcab bed and the rear of the lounge can convert into a further double if required. There is a seating area opposite the door which can convert into a single bed. So I make this 5 berths and not 6.
As with most of the slightly older Elddis motorhomes, this has the Peugeot 2.2l diesel engine which is fine for a vehicle like this.
There are a few of these Elddis Autoquest motorhomes available for hire in the private motorhome hire network if you want to try one, but in my mind I would much prefer the more modern Chausson Flash 03 6 berth motorhome, which is a genuine 6 berth motorhome.
If you are planning on buying a secondhand or ex rental motorhome such as this, it may be well worth hiring one for a weekend or so to see if you like it.
The motorhome featured here is available for hire in Reading, Berkshire.
