The Swift Sundance 630L
The Swift Sundance 630L is a large motorhome, offering 6 berth sleeping accommodation and plenty of space for everyone. The vehicle is a high-line coachbuilt motorhome with a king-size double bed in the overcab area and two other double beds.
It is based on the long-wheelbase Fiat Ducato and powered by a 2.3 litre Multijet 130 diesel engine. With a gross vehicle weight of 4005 kg, a C1 category driving licence is required to drive this vehicle. Power assisted steering makes this large motorhome easier to drive and park.
Swift Sundance 630L Layout
The Swift Sundance range features Tanganica walnut furniture and there is plenty of storage space throughout the vehicle, including overhead lockers with push-button catches. Efficient lighting which is supplied by a LED system and “drop in” carpets are neat touches.
The dinette seats up front are fitted with four 3-point seatbelts for travelling, while a clip-on table makes it convenient for up to four people dining or chatting. This dinette can be made up quickly and easily into a double bed which measures a reasonable 1.82 metres x 1.23 metres. The rear lounge is superb, with comfy seating which converts into a further double bed. The one piece mattress for the overcab king-size bed is extremely comfortable. The lightweight aluminium step ladder can be stored neatly beneath the bed base which is raised on gas struts when the bed is in use.
Swift Sundance 630L Interior
The integrated kitchen has a full-size oven with a grill and a dual-fuel hob, a microwave, a large stainless steel effect 3-way fridge with freezer compartment and a sink unit with a water supply. There is sufficient cutlery, crockery and utensils for up to six people. A easy-to-open extra work surface extends the food preparation area.
The washroom has a folding partition door to keep the wood panelling separate and dry from the shower. The shower tray has two drain plugs which is helpful on campsites where levelling the van is difficult. There’s a good size washbasin and the tap fitting is also the shower head on a nylon extension cord. A modern Thetford cassette toilet, complete with electric flush, is fitted. Hot water and blown air heating are obtained by using the efficient power management system. The Swift Sundance 630L is fully insulated and double glazed.
This vehicle comes with a handy bicycle rack. Home entertainment is provided by a TV with Freeview channels and a DVD player.
