The motorhome investment scheme has been very successful and is enabling us to buy our own fleet of motorhomes. What the investment scheme has enabled us to do is to open multiple depots across the United Kingdom. This means that we have more control over the motorhome fleet, this means that we have more flexibility and it also increases our income. We already have motorhome hire depots in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol, Southampton, Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham and of course the headquarters in Cambridge.
What the motorhome investment idea enabled us to do is to buy our own fleet of motorhomes and to open our own depots across the UK. This makes it far easier to manage the booking, to have access to the motorhome for 52 weeks a year as opposed to when the owners would allow us to. This also made it much easier for the hirers to turn up at a depot rather than on a driveway. It made the whole operation much more professional. What we are now finding is that the motorhome hire depots increased our business by being a more professional operation.
We now have a fleet, with the investment scheme, of more than 100 vehicles. What that has enabled us to do is to open depots and have maximum control of the motorhomes. When an investor invests their £35,000 with us, we return 10.2% per annum. This is not might do this is will do, this is £300 per month every month for three years. So for the three-year term they will receive £10,800 interest and the full return of their £35,000 at the end of three years.
The motorhome open day for investors is designed for you to come along and ask any questions, we give a little presentation showing you all about the investment scheme. The open day is also for you to come and see our offices, come and meet us, meet the team and it is a great non-pressurised environment for you to do that.
